On our HP Printer, there is a feature called 'Send to Email'. I put in all the required information asked by the wizard and when I test it, it comes back with Incorrect credentials I have an HP Office Jet Pro 8600 N911g printer which is a replacement for another one. 2.Under the Account settings ,there would be an option saying Allow less. If we are setting up scan to email for gmail domain then we have to check two settings in our gmail account 1.Login to your gmail account and then click settings option.You will find Two step verificationoption under security tab.So make sure that is turned OFF. The email or password that was entered is not working Please check your email security settings online. When adding your email account to the scan to email feature on the printer control panel, the email server blocks access to your email account and one of the following error messages might display: Gmail requires an additional security step. There is a post on an 8726 that got resolved but they never said how it got resolved other then security issues. All of those are correct along with my credentials.
